The Kawartha Trans Canada Trail Association advises all trail users that the Omemee Rail Bridge over the Pigeon River in Omemee is closed to all pedestrian and cycling traffic until further notice due to necessary repairs.
The closure is in place to ensure the safety of all trail users while repair work is completed. Users are asked to respect all posted signage and barriers and not to attempt to access or cross the bridge.
The Kawartha Trans Canada Trail Association appreciates the public’s patience and understanding as this important maintenance is carried out. Updates on the bridge reopening will be shared on the KTCT website and on the KTCT facebook page.
